Women on the Line is a national current-affairs program with an intersectional feminist lens, broadcast out of 3CR in Melbourne.

With featured guests, co-presenters Amy McMurtrie, Anya Saravanan, Ayan Shirwa, Emma Hart, and Iris Lee unpack topics that affect women and people of colour, the LGBTQIA+ community and people with disability in Australia. Recent episodes have explored coercive control legislation in the New South Wales Parliament, the proposed expansion of the cashless welfare card scheme, bushfire preparation for people with disabilities and links between reproductive hormones and mental health.

Women on the Line is by women for women (and womxn), addressing multicultural lived experiences, privilege (or lack thereof) and the lives of gender non-conforming people in Australia – perspectives that are otherwise underrepresented in Australia’s highly concentrated media landscape.
