Stephen Smiley is the co-host of the ABC’s daily news podcast The Signal and is a reporter in the Audio Current Affairs unit based in Sydney. Before moving to Sydney, Stephen worked for the ABC in Adelaide, Mount Isa and Hobart, where he was state political reporter. He also spent a year working as an investigative reporter for Slate and ProPublica in New York.
