Kim was born and raised in Melbourne where she grew up in the cultural melting pot which is Footscray. She is currently on creative sabbatical, having worked in branding and advertising for the last three years.
Through the Artful Dodgers Studio, she has been developing a ceramics practise since 2019 and now has her own space at Schoolhouse Studios in Collingwood. There, she has been spending much of the Covid-19 lockdown experimenting with clay, paint and audio exploring ideas around cultural identity.
She is currently working as a maker on Artful Dodgers Studios Braided podcast.
