Jaye Kranz

Jaye Kranz is an Australian radio producer, writer and musician. She’s one of those people who blames radio for a lot of what’s good in the world.

Jaye has published short stories and a novella; written for film and documentary; works as an editor; and is the front-person and songwriter for Melbourne band Brighter Later, whose debut album The Wolves was nominated for the Australian Music Prize.

The rest of the time, Jaye is an independent documentary radio producer whose features have appeared on ABC Radio National, In The Dark, WBEZ Chicago and the Third Coast Audio Festival podcast. Jaye has also been the instigator, host and producer of The Radio Hour, a live non-fiction radio storytelling event for the Melbourne Writers Festival in partnership with ABC RN.
