Timothy Nicastri is a sound engineer, drummer, and of course – a radio-maker! He’s half of radio-duo, postbake with Mike Williams.
His collaborative audio work has been recognised at the Third Coast International Audio Festival, New York Radio Festival, KCRW’s 24hr Radio Race, the UN Media Peace Prize, NSW Premier’s History Award, and Prix Italia. He’s also a proud awardee of the ABC’s Tony Barrell fellowship.
He was sent on high-level tech mission to Turkey for the ABC’s ANZAC centenary broadcasts in 2015, has broken equipment skateboarding on the job and produces poor quality noise in the band Gallucci. He has an Italian passport, but it hasn’t helped his Skype language exchanges. The final important bit of info is Timothy loves basketball.
