Maddy Macfarlane is an audio creative, community radio broadcaster and a PhD student from the Faculty of Music at the University of Melbourne. Her research integrates her radio practice with the collaborative creation of radio pieces with local music communities, including musicians from the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. She has also created a radio story-making training course for asylum seeker and new community musicians who want to self-represent through community radio. Maddy presents the music show Homebrew on PBS 106.7FM in Melbourne.
