Kylie Sturgess is a philosophy teacher, award-winning podcaster and presenter/producer at community radio station RTR FM. She currently teaches creative radio and introduction to radio at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.
Kylie investigates and reports on paranormal and pseudoscientific topics and how they intersect with popular culture. She blogs prolifically and is the president of the Atheist Foundation of Australia.
Kylie has lectured on teaching critical thinking, feminism, new media and anomalistic beliefs worldwide. In 2010 and 2012, she was the MC of the Global Atheist Convention, and more recently has lectured at the New Zealand Skeptics Conference on science communication and skepticism.
In 2011, she published a book of podcast transcripts, The Scope of Skepticism, and was awarded Skeptic Magazine’s Ockham Award for best podcast that year.
