Dr Karl Kruszelnicki is a TV and radio broadcaster and science communicator who has co-produced two series of the Sleek Geeks podcast alongside fellow geek Adam Spencer.
He popularises science on ABC radio stations across Australia and on the BBC.
Karl has written 40 books (and counting), and has won numerous awards – including the 2002 Ig Nobel prize, awarded by Harvard University for his ground-breaking research into belly button lint and why it’s almost always blue.
Karl has degrees in Physics and Maths, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine and Surgery and has worked as a physicist, tutor, film-maker, car mechanic, labourer and as a medical doctor at the Childrens’ Hospital in Sydney.
His enthusiasm for science is totally infectious – and he is well known for his ability to convey the excitement and wonder of it all.
