
Julie Posetti is a research fellow with the World Association of News Publishers and the World Editors Forum based in Paris, where she is undertaking a UNESCO-commissioned study on privacy and journalists’ sources, and writing about journalism ethics and practice in an age of industry upheaval. She is also a journalism academic at the University of Wollongong, Australia, where she teaches social and broadcast journalism.
An award winning former Australian Broadcast Corporation journalist, she is completing a PhD on the ‘Twitterisation’ of journalism. Julie was a consulting producer on the Age‘s true crime podcast Phoebe’s Fall.
