Cinnamon Nippard is an Australian freelance writer, journalist and radio producer, focusing on contemporary art, music, culture, human rights, science, technology, sustainability and health and wellbeing.
Living and working in Berlin for the past 11 years, she has written and photographed for a range of magazines and online publications including Monocle 24, Lowdown Magazine, Red Bull, Huck Magazine and DJ Broadcast. She has also produced a vast array of radio features for key media outlets across Europe, Australia and North America such as Deutsche Welle; ABC’s Radio National and Triple J; Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Radio Netherlands.
In 2014, she launched Plumage with her co-founders, an online boutique and curated magazine dedicated to independent, global tattoo culture with a focus on artists whose work sits at the bleeding edge of contemporary tattoo art. A Plumage book is in development.
Currently based in Sydney she is also a DJ with a passion for global hip hop, R&B and dancehall, and is studying bodywork techniques to get out from behind the computer screen.
