The Rule Book is an ambitious undertaking by producer James Milsom to tell stories about the law – ‘the rules we make … and sometimes break’, in his words. Formerly working as a lawyer himself, Milsom draws on his experiences and contacts to find stories from around Australia.

Episodes feature original music and sound design from Milsom himself, also a musician (if you hear a Radiolab influence here or there, it’s because he’s an avowed fan of that show).
