Sherre’s radio art and documentaries have been made and played in USA, UK, Europe and Australia for two decades, earning some of radio’s top storytelling and audio-art awards.
Her composed radio works have spring-boarded pieces for dance and chamber orchestra, become perennials at festivals and master-classes, and performed at cultural centres including Pompidou, Southbank and Sydney Opera House.
She’s worked at RN and WNYC, sound designed for Sydney Theatre Company, and her sound sculpture commissions include Biennale of Sydney, Sydney Olympics, Sydney MCA and Centre for Visual Art Cardiff. An improvising vocalist in the 80s, she co-founded the band Mind/Body/Split.
